Draghi is asking for 100 billion for artificial intelligence. He is right. But who is defending our factories?

In Corriere Economia I read that the United States and China are investing flat out and that Europe risks becoming the one that only writes the rules for tools invented by others. Draghi's goal is to take Europe's share of global computing capacity from under 5% today to 15% by 2030.

It is a race we cannot afford to lose, even if catching up won't be easy.

But there is another game, closer to us entrepreneurs: the Green Deal. As it stands, it is killing car production in Europe, handing the market to the Chinese, and its rules are also putting ceramics at risk, a sector that drives our economy.

Investing in artificial intelligence is right. But manufacturing has to be defended tooth and nail.

And you, what would you ask Europe for your company?
